What happened to Internet Explorer? I can’t remember the last time I used it. When Mozilla Firefox came out, I’ve viewed the web in a totally different way; and now with Google Chrome, my browsing life has changed forever.
Now, I’m sure we have all used Internet Explorer at least once in our lives, and based on this or any experience it’s foreseen that you would notice it obviously can’t be compared to Firefox, Chrome, Opera, or Safari. I’m not going to say which browser is the best of all of them because I think at the end of the day everyone has their own opinion. I’m not saying that Internet Explorer was always “bad” because it hasn’t. When it was the only browser I knew about, it was amazing. Although, back then, to go onto the internet meant that I wanted to look at a certain website. Then all of the other browsers came out, and the whole world was in amazement by using another browser, it changed the way you “look” at the web.
So, what went wrong? Well, I’m not blaming this particular browser for being a terrible experience while surfing on the web, but I just don’t think that it was ready for the transformation of the web from a “better encyclopedia,” to an enjoyable place for people to spend time looking through the news, and talking to friends via a social networking website. You can download a beta form of the latest Internet Explorer (9), or download Internet Explorer 8 by clicking here – although, I highly recommend Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Safari. Most of these browsers have add-ons to customize and personalize your browser so you can have it look and work how you like it.
I suggest that if you are using a computer that you only use to go onto the internet for a quick answer to any small question, you should use Internet Explorer. But if you’re like me and like to play online games via your browser, watch videos, or just spend hours organizing your emails, then I suggest you look into other browsers for these specialties. Simply click on the one you want to check out: Google Chrome, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Flock. These are some of the most popular that I know. And just might I ask, which browser do you use?
