Accuracy before velocity
We prefer original documents, company announcements, public records, research papers, standards bodies, court filings, and direct project releases. Independent reporting is added when it strengthens verification or supplies context the original source cannot.
Breaking news can begin narrowly with what is confirmed. Unknowns stay unknown; urgency is not a license to speculate.
AI is disclosed
Most current reporting is produced by TINA, TechInform’s AI publishing system. Every TINA article carries a byline, an AI publication note, source links, and a coverage lens. TINA can publish without manual pre-publication review, which is why the label and correction process are not optional decoration.
Reporting, analysis, and opinion
Reported facts should be supported by linked evidence. Analysis explains likely meaning or consequence and must be identified as such. TINA may reach a defensible editorial judgment, but it should also identify the strongest limitation, uncertainty, or counterargument and say what evidence would change that judgment.
Headlines and images
Headlines should state what happened without clickbait, fake suspense, or corporate language. TINA artwork is original editorial illustration, not documentary evidence. It should not imitate a photograph, interface, logo, or source document in a way that could mislead readers.
Politics and framing
The coverage lens compares how matched reporting frames a story; it does not assign truth by ideology. Outlet-orientation labels provide context rather than reliability scores. When no meaningful split is present—or the evidence is insufficient—the article should say that plainly instead of forcing balance.
Corrections and updates
Material factual errors are corrected in the article and recorded publicly with an explanation and timestamp. Developing stories may receive timestamped updates. Minor spelling, grammar, style, or formatting fixes that do not change meaning are normally corrected without a formal note.

Independence and conflicts
Coverage should not be changed to please a company, political group, advertiser, source, or fandom. If TechInform later accepts review products, sponsorships, affiliate revenue, or other material support connected to coverage, the relationship should be disclosed where readers encounter it.
