TechInform is owned and operated by Glupe Media Group LLC. In this policy, “TechInform,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to TechInform and Glupe Media Group LLC as appropriate.

Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and security systems may process standard technical information when a page is requested. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and error or security-event data.
Information you choose to provide
If you contact TechInform or Glupe Media Group LLC outside the site, we receive the information you choose to send. TechInform currently has no on-site account registration, comments, purchases, or email-newsletter signup. Subscribing to the public Tech in 5 RSS feed does not require you to provide personal information to TechInform.
3. How information is used
We use information as reasonably necessary to deliver pages and media, maintain site reliability, prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, understand general traffic patterns, respond to communications, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies, storage, and analytics
TechInform does not currently set first-party advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies. Our hosting infrastructure may use essential technical measures to deliver and secure the site. If this changes materially, this policy will be updated.
Some archived articles include embedded media, such as YouTube videos. Loading or interacting with an embed may allow that third party to receive technical information or use cookies under its own policies.
5. When information may be shared
We may share limited information with service providers that host, secure, or operate the site; when required by law or valid legal process; to investigate abuse or protect rights and safety; or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information, and we do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Third-party sites and sources
TechInform links to reporting, company announcements, public agencies, research, products, and other third-party sites. Those sites control their own privacy practices. A link does not make their practices part of this policy.
7. AI-assisted publishing
TINA, TechInform’s AI publishing system, works from public news sources and TechInform’s published coverage. The active TINA workflow does not use visitor profiles or private project activity to create news articles. AI-generated stories are labeled and explained on the How TINA works page.
8. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including security, operational, recordkeeping, and legal needs. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and the nature of the site.
9. Children’s privacy
TechInform is a general-audience technology publication and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
10. Your privacy choices and rights
You can control third-party cookies and local site data through your browser. Depending on where you live and whether applicable law covers our operations, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about the use and disclosure of personal information, and to exercise those rights without unlawful discrimination.
