I recently purchased the Power Jacket Case 2000mAh for the iPhone 5-Black, and let me just say I am nothing but impressed. The case comes in sleek Apple like packaging, inside comes with the case itself and a micro-USB cable (for charging the actual case). The case is offered in 2 colors, Black and White.
I purchased this case for the sole purpose of charging on the go. I’m a busy guy and when I’m going from place to place and constantly using my phone, it drains the battery. I was skeptical at first about getting one that was just for use on one device (rather than an external battery that offers USB ports.) Soon after I received this case I never look back on the decision. The case itself does not make the phone feel overly large. It features a power button on the bottom and has 4 LCD lights that indicated how charged the actual case is. The inside of the case is backed with a soft material to prevent scratching. The case itself does not provide any sort of screen protection, so I do not recommend using this as a full time case. Regardless, the overall look & feel of the case is amazing.
As far as functionality of the actual case, I plug my case up every night and let it charge for the next day. I have used this case in drastic situations where my battery was below 20% and have charged it up to 100% with about 50% to spare on the actual case. Most of the time I use this case for leisurely charging throughout the day, and only once have I drained the case to zero. Granted charged my phone almost to full twice without a charge to the case. Overall the case can charge a phone from dead to %100 1-2 times on a single charge.
Overall I would definitely recommend this case to anyone with an iPhone 5. This case is a necessity for anyone who owns an iPhone 5, as it has saved me in many cases where I have needed my phone, when it was dead. The case retails on Mobilefun.co.uk for £30 (in the UK) & $45 (in the US.)
