Some more proof that Apple is looking to change the MobileMe Application – you can no longer buy MobileMe Subscription online or in a store near you, and no longer will be sending out the retail boxes.
Apple Insider is reporting that both the packages no longer available to buy online and in-store.
Apple have been rumoured to be changing MobileMe into a free cloud service. Will this be announced at the press event scheduled for next Wednesday? While the press event is expected to be IPad 2 focused, it would not be out of question for Apple to announce changes to MobileMe at the same time.
Apple mentioned at a shareholders meeting this week that the new NC-based data center would be used for iTunes and MobileMe services.
