When the Kindle Fire was announced a few weeks ago the world went wild. It was an incredible tablet, set at an incredible price point. Being set at the a sweet $200 price point the Kindle Fire is not even in the same market as the Apple iPad, which gives it air to breath. This could in the end make the Kindle Fire sales blow through the roof. In a way, Amazon is approaching the market from a strategy much like Apple did, they are creating a flagship device, which is set at an easy to remember price point. Many Android tablet manufacturers have many different types of tablet and honestly, even to someone who keeps up with technology relatively well like myself, are just plain confusing. Amazon is attempting to simplify the market, and this is what gives them the upper hand on Android tablets. Amazon also decided to not compete with Apple, which no other manufacturer has tried yet.
So the question remains, will the Kindle Fire beat out all the Android tablets? We truthfully won’t know until it launches next month. We will just have to wait and see how the Kindle Fire sells.
