I was lucky enough to pick up one of the new HP laptops from eBay for $500.00 (£350.99, 448.99Euro). This is my first PC and boy do I love it! The specs are as follows :
- AMD Athlon II Dual-Core Processer for NoteBooks P320 (2.1 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache).
- 15.6 inch diagonal High Definition HP BrightView Led Display ( 1366 x 768).
- 250GB Hard Drive.
- 3072MB DDR3 SDRAM (2 Dimm).
- Lightscribe Super Multi 8x DVD + RW with Double Layer Support.
- 6 Cell Lithium-Ion Battery.
- AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 Graphics.
- Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium ( 64 Bit).
- VGA Webcam.
This is a nice PC to start of with especially on YouTube. I don’t really know what the best free video editing software is on Windows 7 yet. For now, I use VideoPad Video Editor along with Windows Live Movie Maker. The good thing about these pieces of editing software are that they do the job for me at the moment in the transitions and effects part of editing but in the future, I will change the software for certain.
