On behalf of all the Administrators and Editors here at Tech Inform, we sincerely apologize for our recent downtime. We have just recovered from a major database failure.
Unfortunately, we could not restore any backups from our previous WordPress installation. That means that all users will have to re-apply and effectively start over.
We have since upgraded hosts and devised multiple methods of creating backups often to prevent a future failure. To set up your account again, please follow the following steps.
*Please take note that the process has changed*
- Follow this link to begin. Fill out the required information on the page. Please understand that all the information is for security and will not be used or sold to anyone for profit or advertising.
- When the required fields are filled out, click Submit.
That’s all you have to do for now. I will check the form that receives this information daily. When I see that new users have applied, they will be added into WordPress with the information you provided. An email will then be sent to you with your username and password. The password, of course, can be changed to what ever you like when you log in. After you are accepted and enrolled to our data base (within 24 hours) you can resume writing as you did before. Logging in is done from the Tech Inform home page, under the Meta section on the right side of the site.
Please remember that the featured image to a post is designed and uploaded by an Administrator since the dimensions and background colors and not standard. Your post may also be edited by one of our Administrators or Editors. Any editing that is done is purely for better grammar or structure.
Once again, we’d like to thank you for dealing with our old host’s failure. InMotion hosting is not quite what they used to be. We are now back on track and back to normal. If you have any questions about anything, please email the Tech Inform affiliate that may best be able to answer your question. Each affiliate and their role here is displayed on this page.
