Several sources are reporting that Apple is in the final testing stage for an ultra-thin 15″ notebook. Although we are unsure if this is a 15″ macbook air or a significantly thinner macbook pro, it is expected that this machine will not include an optical drive and will ship with SSD storage standard. A 17″ model will also be in the works as well.
So the question remains, will these be a hybrid between a Macbook Air and a Macbook Pro? or simply a larger Macbook Air. I believe that this will be a Macbook Pro instead of a 15″ Macbook Air because apple is putting out that the Macbook Air is a ultra portable Laptop and a 15″ Macbook Air would not be so portable.
