Where to Find Us Online — And What’s Coming Next

One of the first things we asked ourselves when we relaunched TechInform was: “What’s still out there from the original site?” After all, TechInform’s been around for nearly 15 years, and like any long-running project, it’s seen a few hands, a few pivots, and more than a few forgotten passwords.

We knew social media had been part of the original setup, and we really wanted access — but it didn’t look promising at first. The original owner had lost access to most of it, and the trail was cold.

Then Brad stepped in.

Brad was one of TechInform’s past admins, and to our surprise (and huge relief), he still had access to a bunch of the original accounts — including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and even the YouTube channel — all created in 2010, right alongside the site itself. With TechInform’s 15th birthday coming up next month, it’s been pretty awesome to bring these platforms back under one roof just in time for the milestone.

Massive shoutout to Brad for taking the time to help get everything moved over — we literally couldn’t have done it without him.

So now, for the first time in years, TechInform is officially back online across all the major platforms:

What We’re Doing on Each Platform

Facebook + X:

These are our signal-boosting platforms. Anytime a new article drops on TechInform, it gets automatically shared here. It’s not flashy, but it’s a reliable way to stay in the loop.

YouTube:

This is where we’ve got the biggest plans. While the channel itself dates back to 2010, we haven’t launched any new video content yet — but that’s going to change soon. Think tutorials, deep dives, project builds, and maybe even some tech experiments. Stay tuned.

Instagram:

Still finding our rhythm here. Expect updates about new posts, maybe a few behind-the-scenes looks, and some project highlights. We’re treating it as an experimental space for now — we’ll figure out what works as we go.

Bringing these accounts back to life feels like a proper full-circle moment. We’re not just rebuilding TechInform — we’re reconnecting with its roots and setting the stage for what’s next.

Thanks again, Brad. And to everyone else — see you in the feed.
