After the death of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung hasn’t been selling a device that uses their popular S Pen. That’s all about to change later this week as Samsung has unveiled the new Galaxy Tab A 10.1, which will be one of the first tablets to integrate the popular S Pen features.

The new tablet will feature a 10.1″ 1920×1200 display, a Samsung Exynos 7870 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage. It will be powered by a 7,300 mAH battery that should give users up to 13 hours of video playback. Out of the box, the new tablet will run Android 6.0, but with any luck Samsung will upgrade it to the newest version after its launch.

In the camera department, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 will feature an 8-megapixel rear facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for all of your selfie needs.

The highlight of the new tablet will be the S Pen features. While they’ve been used in tablets before, this will be the first modern device to use the S Pen after Samsung was forced to pull the Galaxy Note 7 from sales earlier this month after their batteries starting exploding, even after being replaced in a recall. Users of the new tablet can look forward to being able to create action Memos, draw sketches in S Note, and much more when it launches.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 will go on sale Friday, October 28th, starting at $349 for the 16 GB model.
