Flea markets have a surprisingly great amount of used technology. During a recent trip to the flea market, I decided to start a series showing some of the cool items that we find at the flea market. This past week, we picked up a bunch of older cameras, as well as accessories for them. Here is a list of the items we purchased.
- Minolta Maxxum 5000i
- Pentax K1000
- Keystone K714H
- Bell & Howard MS45
- Dell Optiplex GX150
- 4 x 1 GB sticks of RAM
- Dell keyboard & mouse
In addition to showing off our picks any time we find something cool at the flea market, we also decided it would be an interesting idea to buy parts at the flea market and attempt to build a PC out of them by August 21st. We’ll be showing off the parts that we buy for that project in future episodes of Peyton’s Picks, and will do our best to publish a build video showing the progress of building the flea market computer.
Stay tuned for more episodes of Peyton’s Picks as well as updates on this project.
